BELLADONNA DRESS
The Belladonna Dress was the main piece of the short film ‘Belladonna Wisk’s Recipe of Disaster’ and had to be show stopping. The dress was intended to look and feel ‘dreamy’. Concept art was done by comic book artist Theo Velasco as we wanted the final concepts in a comic style that was used duirng parts of the short film
Our heroine lives a double life which I brought out in her costuming and colours: the two main colours, pink for normal life and purple for her career as an assassin. I decided to have both colours melt into each other to show the duality of the character and was able to achieve this with Purple Tulle ontop of Pink Fairy Organza.
