About Me
I’m Keziah, a Bermudian-Kurdish filmmaker from Bermuda. I work in Sydney, London and Bermuda.
I am a freelance costume designer and a video editor – I love the creative energy of being part of a team that makes stories come to life.
I have worked on projects such as Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes for Disney; The Mole for Netflix; Australian Idol and Farmer Wants A Wife as well as other primetime shows for Channel 7 and the Amazing Race for Channel 10.
Editing allows me to combine my technical skills with my background as a visual artist to enhance stories for audiences and I enjoy the research, detail and practical skills required in costume design to make a project come to life. I also enjoy production design, including creating props and sets.
The elements of costume design are so important in introducing a character to an audience even before any lines have been spoken. Working in costume design, I approach costuming a character by focussing on their backstory and progression to make sure their look helps tell their story.
